Education Programs
A Syria where every individual has access to basic needs, education, safety, and opportunities to thrive — a Syria rebuilt on hope, justice, and dignity for all.
Building Minds, Rebuilding Futures
In the aftermath of war, destruction is not limited to buildings and infrastructure — it reaches deeply into the lives of children whose schools have been lost and dreams put on hold.
At Swasia Foundation, we believe education is not a luxury — it is a lifeline. Through our Education Programs, we are helping Syrian children reclaim their right to learn, grow, and build a better future.

The Crisis in Education
Years of conflict have severely damaged Syria’s education system. Thousands of schools have been destroyed, teachers displaced, and families left unable to afford school fees, supplies, or transportation. Millions of children are at risk of becoming a lost generation — without access to the tools and opportunities that education provides.
In many parts of Syria, even basic literacy and numeracy are now out of reach for countless young minds.
Our Response – Restoring Education, Restoring Hope
Swasia Foundation’s Education Programs are designed to respond directly to this urgent need. We provide:
- School enrollment support: covering tuition, fees, and registration
- Essential school supplies: including backpacks, books, stationery, and uniforms
- Safe learning spaces: by rehabilitating damaged schools and classrooms
- Teacher training and salaries: to ensure quality, continuity, and care
- Tutoring and remedial classes: for children who’ve fallen behind due to displacement
- Psychosocial support: helping students recover emotionally so they can learn again
Our work focuses on the most vulnerable children: orphans, the displaced, those with disabilities, and families living in extreme poverty.
Empowering Generations Through Knowledge
Education is more than reading and writing — it’s the key to independence, empowerment, and peace. It protects children from child labor, early marriage, and exploitation. It builds confident leaders, skilled workers, and informed citizens.
Every classroom we reopen, every child we sponsor, is a step toward rebuilding Syria not just physically — but mentally and morally.
