DiscoveringtheRehabilitationCenter

The family learned about Sawaseya Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation through a Facebook post. The mother visited the center, filled out the intake form, and had her son examined by a specialist. A customized physical therapy plan was then developed to meet AbdulRahim’s specific needs.

Pre-TreatmentCondition:

Before starting therapy, AbdulRahim was unable to crawl, stand, or walk. His movements were extremely limited, and his parents were uncertain if progress was even possible.

Child’sConditionBeforeTreatment:

AbdulRahim was unable to sit, crawl, or stand, making any form of progress seem like a distant dream. However, the determination of his family, combined with the dedicated efforts of the center’s team, laid the foundation for his journey toward improvement.

The Essential Role of Psychological Support & Family Message:

Recovery was not solely physical—psychological and emotional support played a central role in the treatment plan.
The parents received guidance and emotional counseling through regular sessions with social workers, helping them overcome feelings of fear and discouragement, and empowering them to channel positivity in their care for Abdul Rahim،The child’s self-confidence was gradually strengthened through engaging in interactive activities at the center, combined with motivational techniques that nurtured his sense of achievement with each small milestone، This holistic approach—blending physical rehabilitation with emotional support—led to tangible progress in a relatively short period of time،
and through the efforts of Sawaseya Center, we witnessed AbdulRahim standing on his own two feet. That moment was worth more than any thing in this world.”، The family affirms that providing these services free of charge is not just therapeutic—it is a revival of hope in the hearts of those who had lost it.
